Do not need to define every term: operational definition of sex is unnecessary. Importance of operational definitions (cid:862)fatigue(cid:863: exhaustion, being tired, Class activity: operational definitions (cid:862)fit(cid:374)ess(cid:863: cardiorespiratory fitness, physical methods of strength, flexibility. Give strong rationale to get people on board as to why you"ve described it that way. Make assumptions where the base of your study is made. How sure are you of this assessment method: affect perceived quality of methods. Choices the researcher makes to define a workable research problem: make some sort of guideline. Delimitation of sample to population that doesn"t meet guidelines, less restrictive, less difficult to find participants: compromise to achieve criteria, with this knowledge that ideal study population cannot be found. Delimitation = restriction: limitation is sometime a result of that restriction.
