Divisions between greece and rome (rome conquered military, It reflected the change in values and kingdoms of society into classical greek city-state society. Homer was the ultimate binding element of the greeks. Greeks were not politically unified for the majority of its history. Greek sense of values and history were unified by homer. They tried to live up to their ancestors. Less artifacts were found from this time period.
