Jk rowling rejected over and over, when she finally got a change we see the impact of her books: market not likely to provide support. Everything is a commodity: saying ational identity isnt their concern, we shouldn"t worry bout cultural relevence everythig is a commodity. State ownership: karl: should be used in service of state (if you could use them t make people feel more united, then why wouldn"t u do that) (sometimes it can go toofar, us all media run by government. In the us there isnt such aa close tie but some say fox is an extention of the state. State intervenes bc they believe its important to keep these industries going and as strong of a belief to protect canadian national identity.
