Document Summary

I have almost forgot the taste of fears. The time has been, my senses would"ve cooled to hear a night-shriek, and fell of hair would at a dismal treatise rouse and stir as life were in it. He has lost the ability to feel and is now consumed with feelings of horror and dismay and those are familiar to him. With this arises potential conflict as macbeth realizes that though he had thought he lost that ability to feel, he truly does have some humanity left in him as that shriek had frightened him. He quickly tries to cover those feelings up due to the fact that he is king, he did all of those horrible things to protect himself and get him where he wanted to be. Those things had caused him to shed who he used to be, and he doesn"t want to feel any remorse or guilt for what he has done.
