Described as therapy based on the notion of love (i. e. client may need to feel loved) Mental illnesses are not about one individual person, but instead describes a series of relationships. Someone"s behavior is a result of the complex web of relationships within the family. Based on the idea that a person"s mental health problem stems from an imperfection in the physical organ of the brain (i. e. imbalance of chemical neurotransmitters) Seen in places without a plethora of mental health resources.
