Document Summary

Axillary nerve comes out between heads of tricep muscles. Distal end has at tendon called bicipital aponeurosis ( exion) Supinates forearm and allows you to bring forearm to arm. After crossing the elbow it becomes radial and ulnar. All arise from medial epicondyle of humerus. Super cial and deep exors of the ngers. When the two contract together you get a good grip. Arise from the lateral epicondyle of the humerus. Matching muscles that compliment the action in the exor compartment. Extensor, abductor pollicis (special to the thumb) Any sudden force can pull muscle tendons. Pulls tendons off of the periosteum of the bone. Fall on outstretched hand with impact on thumb (scaphoid break) All these bones are bound by ligaments. Form a hollow cavity that allows exor tendons to get into the ngers. Connective tissue bandages the wrist called extensor/ exor retinaculum. Transverse carpal ligament extends across the wrist from scaphoid to hamate.
