Pudendal artery supplies perineum and recto-anal region (via inferior rectal branch) Posterior fornix: fibromuscular canal 7 -9 cm, vaginal fornices at upper end, posterior fornix is important clinically. There are four fornices- the posterior and two lateral fornices are clinically important. The bladder is very closely associated with the vaginal canal.
