Form mounds on dorsal side > mainly synapse points with neurons (grey matter) Visual reflexes: 2 sets of muscles: extrinsic, intrinsic. Superior colliculi involved in superior reflexes in eye > scanning, visual reflexes. Inferior colliculi: muscle signal to move neck and eyes and other muscles for the startle reflex. So we all have the reticular formation activated! Grey matter in outside that folds and with grooves (folia) Large portion grey matter > lots of decisions. Axons all come together inside cerebellum to form branch-like network> tree of life (arbor vitae) White matter travels into brainstem and will synapse there.
