Accra: 3 million people (or 4 million) Mumbai: 18. 4 million (called mega city bc over 10 million) They all have ports: people can travel and visit places through ports as coastal cities. There 3 cities have maintained multicultural populatio n as a result of the ports. British, dutch and danish flowing through these locations. Gold trade happening along the gold caost and also coming from the slave trade. Lots of english speakers to make these places to a wider audience. 15th century: the ga people first settle in accra. The portuguese arrive soon after for the gold trade and bring their faith, christianity. The dutch, danish, and the english come. Accra becomes the capital of the gold coast.
