Bradypnea- abnormally slow breathing, a respiratory rate which is too slow, depends on various factors like the patients age and level of exertion. Systolic- top number when stating blood pressure, refers to the amount of pressure in your arteries during heart contraction. Diastolic- bottom number when stating blood pressure, refers to the blood pressure when you heart muscle is between beats. Hyperthermia- the condition of having a body temperature rating above normal. Hypothermia- the condition of having a body temperature rating less than normal. Hyperventilation- rapid or deep breathing, most commonly associated with anxiety and panic. Hypoventilation- breathing at an abnormally slow rate, resulting from an increased amount of co2 in the blood.
