Thyroid Gland
Product- thyroid hormone
Isthmus connects right and left lobe
Follical creates the thyroid hormone.
They are sphereoid glands surrounded by cuboidal follicular
On the inside there is the matix (goo) called colloid which holds the thyroid
hormone
Only endocrine gland which stores the hormone outside of the gland

It helps regulate basal metabolic rate
Therefore is vital for survival, and in turn is highly vascularized
Also has many nerves run by it
