Good aimed at human beings is called eudemonia (happiness or wellbeing) Virtuous living is not a means to an end but it is the life of well being. Development of good character to find mean of moral dilemma. Don"t focus on duties or calculations but think about how to behave in one of 3 ways. Vice of excess (character flaw of extravagance) Vice of deficiency (character flaw of greed?) Mean (middle route, acting in a way that is appropriate) State of character concerned with choice, lying in a mean (mean determined by rational principle and relative to us)
