Who should control that power>>> today answer is democracy. Democracy is all over the world, almost all governments worldwide justi es itself as democratic/democracy. North korea peoples republic democracy, most governments label themselves that. Democracy is accepted by all, foreign aggressions to spread democracy. >> democracy comes from greek work people and rule therefore people rule/rule of the people. Democracy always looks different depending on where and when you are, culturally variable. Major types of democracy in two forms direct and indirect democracy. Direct: power lies in people"s hands and people directly make the rules and regulations that guide the community. Assembly in athens where rules are made where all could have their say. 6000 people would gather and discuss major issues of the day where everyone was expected and allowed to speak.
