Involves the most physical symptoms and appear like they are neurological implications but there is nothing wrong with it. Conversion disorder: dsm-v (also called hysteria, conversion hysteria) Most people who showed these symptoms were young females (18-25) and often unmarried and childless. They thought these symptoms were caused by the uterus and its longing for children and sex. Hysteria came from the greek word meaning uterus. This proves the mind and body are very strongly connected and are not two separate entities. One or more symptoms of altered voluntary motor or sensory function. Usually involves feeling in parts of the body, weakness or deafness (loss of sensory function is considered voluntary) Symptoms incompatible with recognized neurological or medical condition. Symptoms not better explained by another medical or mental condition. Symptom causes clinically significant distress or impairment, or warrants medical evaluation. "watch out!" they may duck but say they never heard you say that.
