We have a natural sexual instinct, we don"t have to be taught to like sex. Sex is the primary motive for all human behaviours i. e. eating and drinking. In human nature, everyone has some type of underlying aggression. If it feels good, do it and do it now. Doesn"t see anything, taste or feel anything, just memories. The difficulty the id has in distinguishing between images, generalization. The id is in the unconscious mind, we can never know it directly. Don"t do it if it will cause us pain. What does the id want, i will go find this in the real world. Takes the libido and uses it in interacting with the actual object. Having an ego develop uses up libido. Creates barriers to use with the id. Uses libido to create a barrier to block the image from the id being able to do it. The id has the ability to learn how the world works.
