My initial practicum enhancement proposal project was revolved around expanding and promoting big sky fitness through new partnerships, sponsorships, and practices. Although i have still strived for this enhancement project, a new opportunity came up that i could implement this enhancement idea on. My supervisor hayden froese recently got put in charge of 2 minor hockey tournaments in alberta under elite sports group. Elite sports group is owned and operated by big sky fitness, which is why i"m involved with the tournaments. The tournaments operated by elite sports group are the alberta champions cup, and the stampede. The alberta champions cup is one of the biggest spring hockey tournaments for ages. 6-14, and is held in both calgary and edmonton. The stampede challenge is held in early june for ages 6-14 as well, and is exclusively held in calgary.
