Types of teams: project teams = members produce on-time output [solve problem/design product/service, production teams = members manufacture products interdependently, cross-functional teams = group comprised of individually from different departments/different functional expertise. Lots of different opinions/expertise to solving problems but can have lots of conflicts like communication, goals, motivation, budget, perspectives etc. Effective teams: meet their objectives [output/task completion], have satisfied members [positive attitudes within team], and longevity.
