Section 15 subsection 1 says that there should not be any discrimination. Andrews argued that they deserve section 15 protection. Supreme court decided that they deserve section 15 protection: *involves: section 15 and section 1 of the charter along with section 42 of the bc barristers & Solicitors act: r. v. saeed (2016) , took place in edmonton. Saeed along with his friends were at a party and he sexually assaulted a (cid:373)i(cid:374)or. Se(cid:272)tio(cid:374) 8 of the (cid:272)harter said people ha(cid:448)e the right to be protected under unreasonable search. Section 24 subsection 2 said the evidence should be voided: *involves: section 8 which means unreasonable search & seizure and section 24 subsection 2 which means admissibility of evidence of the charter*
