Interpersonal attraction: three levels: cognitive, affective, and behavioural, key factors of liking (fondness and affection) Similarity, proximity, self-disclosure, situational factors, and physical attractiveness. Love and loving: freud - love is a sublimated sexual energy, evolutionary - love helps propagate species, rubin (1970) - there are three elements of love. Attachment, caring, and intimacy: triangular theory of love - intimacy, passion, and commitment.
