A given group clearly has the most inluence and the amount of inluence they have can be measured and observed. Ex: an elecion where the poliician with the most votes wins the elecion: two dimensional power: when power is exercised by blocking or prevening issues from being known and making them invisible. Conlict is controlled by hiding certain issues from the subordinate group and leaving them uninformed so they don"t see the power being exercised. This dimension also addresses force and coercion when dominant groups exercise their power over subordinate groups using threats. The dominant group inluences the subordinate group and manipulates them into believing that the dominant group is working for them. The subordinate group believes that they are choosing the best opion for themselves, when they are really disadvantaging themselves. The subordinate group acts diferently because of the inluence of the dominate group.
