Conformity: occurs when we adjust our behaviours or aitudes to coincide with a group norm. Asked to look at three lines and choose which line matched the length of a standard line. When allowed to give answers privately: 100% Normaive inluence: social pressure to adopt a group"s perspecive in order to be accepted by a group. Leads to public acceptance but not necessarily private acceptance. Informaional inluence: when people internalize the values and beliefs of the group, coming to believe the same imes and feel the same way themselves.
