Bad house raid know the date for the exam!! Know the significant dates that are mentioned plenty of times. Life changing for homos in the community: february 4th police raided all the butt houses? and arrested whoever was found inside. March of protest happened on yonge street and kept going on. Gay community won a number of back up legally and socially. There"s still a lot that must be done. Most of the benefit that have resulted from all these improvements have only benefited a particular group of homosexual people or sexual minorities but excluded a whole bunch of groups. The one event that is inevitably brought up by people and if this doesn"t speak enough about acceptance, i don"t know what does. In the process of recognition of this parade, something has been lost: the political message that the parade was to communicate.
