Leaders and managers at all levels of health care organization must do what they can to improve the quality of work life in health care in order to ensure patient safety and quality health care. This includes fatigue management policies and programs. Identify the four categories of environmental safety: basic needs. Sufficient oxygen and nutrition and the optimal temperature and humidity influences a person"s safety. Be aware of carbon monoxide (carbon monoxide detectors) Clean water, garbage collecting optimizes safety; be aware of food poisoning.
