Neutral stimulus (ns: a stimulus that doesn"t elicit any specific response. Unconditioned stimulus (ucs: a stimulus that elicits an automatic response, unconditioned bc nothing has ti be done to learn to response to it. Conditioned stimulus (cs: previously neutral stimulus that becomes associated with the ucs, conditioned bc the stimulus must be associated with the ucs before the response can be learned. Conditioned response (cr: learned response to the cs as a result of being paired with the ucs, conditioned bc the response has to be leaned as a result of pairing.
