Animals" purpose to make a better new life, but their life is now worse - they"ve tried to get better, but they end up in a situation even worse their own is oppressing them. Everything that the animals have done, it"s now reversed. Characters and who they"re based on: old major: karl marx. Marx saw the church just as corrupted: napoleon: stalin, snowball: trotoky. People believe him because they"re just naive they don"t think critically and they want to believe: dogs: kgb, sheeps: mindless masses - mob mentality, hens: purges , boxer: honest worker. Any good in humanity, they will always be exploited. He worked hard but never got anything good: moses: church, benjamin: the author. He doesn"t think humanity will change: farners: european powers. First sign of corruption: the milk being gone the morning of the revolution.
