Adam smith: believed in free market and free economy, laissez faire economics have government leave them alone, free trade would improve the lives of people, believed that if the economy was improving, so would the lives of the workers, believed there need to be a strong state, capitalist society was divided into 3 groups, the groups always clashed so there needed to be someone to control them, the wealthy should get more power and the poor should work.
