Strategic = its planned to make an effect (not aarchic or random) When ppl occupy statuses, they try to use the valuable resources available to them and use the privileges within those statuses. Our social lives are performances - always an attempt to make ourselves look our best. There is no single self - we are made up of the ensemble of roles we play.
