Cisc processors have a large number of instructions and complex and extensive addressing modes. Cisc tries to complete a task in as few lines of assembly as possible. In the risc approach there are 3 commands, which are load, prod, store. Intel 8086 only works on real addressing mode, 8088 is a cheaper version of 8086. Every chip has a different pin, and counters are used for storing memory locations. (cid:862)virtual(cid:863) (cid:373)e(cid:373)ory is a(cid:374) illusio(cid:374) to the user that the user has (cid:373)ore ram. Demand paging; page that is demanded by cpu and loaded to hard disk. In a pipelining diagram, we start with one instruction per clock cycle. Superscalar means that the processor has ipc=2 and can execute 2 instructions per cycle. Superior branch prediction means predictions can be done at a superior level. Single precision floating point is a type of processor.
