The classic masculine traits is that men go into relationships with logic and rationality, that they are etched from their feelings, and are unable to express themselves. The reality is that these differences are not as pronounced as we would believe. These differences are, in some cases, opposite to what we would expect. Women did not have citizenship, and were not considered to be fully human. They were seen as mere breeders, an thus, true relationships happened between men.
