The mind"s big bang = when human expression and concept of the mind start. Hominid artifacts found in africa, where human ancestors used to live. Hominids used the same tool for thousands of years. Ancient technology developed very slowly compared to now. They kept making the same exact tool, with no improvements. Shows regularity of thinking, no creativity and innovation. Every modern human is able to make use of tools and be creative. Suggests that the big bang happened before our human ancestors. The world"s first beads spread from africa. Shell beads and other ornaments were found. Beads made of animal bones, always the same species. These beads were no good for survival. More beads found along migration to eastern europe, russia, then western. Start of humans self-expression and social identity. Face is more projected in the middle, with receding chin, big projected nose. Humans treated the dead with care, held meaning to death.
