Significant plate tectonic change resulted in stress. (compression to extension) Volcanic in contact with the sedimentary (pink touching the blue) Grand forks complex : east : kettle river. 12/20 left side rock: un-deformed sedimentary right igneous. 16/20 lower grade rocks that slid down to the west red line : normal fault the rocks used to be at a higher elevation and they dropped down.
