A lot of data to demonstrate the fact that the earth lithosphere is in continuous movement came from this project. This project was used to develop a method to drill in the deepest portions of the ocean, including the parts of the ocean where the water depth is 6000 to 7000m. They align with the magnetic field lines of the earth. They have a positive and a negative pole, therefore, in crystallization, they align themselves with the lines of the magnetic field. This study was expanded, it was noted that when particles settle from suspension in a fluid to the bottom of a simulated basin, in case they have these 3 metals, they align themselves with the magnetic field lines. A new branch of geology was made which studies minerals. Minerals in most superficial rocks are aligned and they match the lines of the magnetic field.
