Focus on individualisation- "god helps those who helps themselves" Peer pressure from print media propagates new ideals. Movement from country party principles to more radical principles. Desire to be civilized members of society leads to needs for rules. All the reform acts and bills to happen in the future- factory laws/prison improvement/womens bills etc. People lose harshness or punishments and everyday lives in attempt to be like the gentry and respectable. To be respectable means having a large house in desirable area, a carriage with a horse, a house bible (lineage), and domestic servants.
