Most man of society had mistresses and if the mistresses got pregnant the lords had to provide for them but there would not be inheritance. There should also not be preservatives. there was a lot of prostitution. It is usually in a heavy male environment, such as war camp followers. Masturbation was also not permitted since it the seed was supposed to be only procreate. Preservatives were announced mostly to prevent stds: marriage- women were supposed to endure the rule of men. Marriage was seen as a sacrament to procreate, a necessary condition for women, even though 25-30% women did not get married in their lives. Some reasons was because some of them became nuns, another reason was because of the lack of men. Men average first marriage 27 and women average first marriage 25. Men look into looking a women around their age.
