Consisted of designing a plant to convert biomass into bio-diesel using the method of pyrolysis and strong base catalysis. A detailed P&ID, mass balances, economic analysis, HAZOP study, and report were also included.  Used Aspen HYSYS and spreadsheet software to simulate reactive chemical processes  Developed flow diagrams, solution plants, and calculated material and energy balances of chemical processes throughout various process engineering assignments Analytical Problem Solving  Conducted multiple chemical experiments and tests through various university projects as a student and research engineer  Prepared various instructions and manuals as a laboratory research assistant  Tested laws and theory of course material such as mass transfer, heat transfer, and thermodynamics  Operated and maintained laboratory equipment and apparatus by utilizing proper documentation and personal mechanical aptitude  Strong proficiency of MS Office applications  Working knowledge of Maple, MATLAB and other programming languages Leadership  Moderator for the Oil Sands Panel talk (University of Guelph, 2012)  Key organizer for the first World Partnership Walk in Saskatchewan (Saskatoon, 2010)  Appointed as laboratory waste treatment leader for Dr. Niu’s Biosorption research lab (University of Saskatchewan, 2009)  Supervised and led the inventory controls staff at Loblaw’s food and grocery warehouse (Calgary, 2007) AWARDS, ACHIEVEMENTS AND CERTIFICATES COMPLETED  Start Up Weekend Hamilton runner-up 2011  Dean’s Honor List
