To become fully aware of ourselves and our identity, we must be aware of how others see us. We create these oposites and our goal is to overcome these opposites. Lovers lose individualness in union, achieve deeper sense of self. Start with thesis (self), opposition is antithesis (other), enter grand synthesis, 2 become 1, both overcome isolation and incompleteness.
