Principalism: appears to be preferable to utilitarianism( focus on objective of nh or utility, synonymous) where as principalism, liberty is just one moral objective amongst other, where liberty utility and justice compete with each other. Principalism cases: drowning man- prohibited, rule to punish those who fail to help others in need. Different ways of justifying things: selfie voting booth- law prohibiting is justified or not, competition between justice where e(cid:448)e(cid:396)yo(cid:374)e"s vote comes as one, but other hand promoting, contrast to liberty and utility. We were considering rules that can govern how we behave and how certain actions are prohibited. If considering only utility, thee cases seem to be putting these cases in question because there are other moral objectives to consider. These are equally important and need to see how they play out with each other with respect to different cases: mystery: some cases, utility outweighs liberty.
