Muslims face the same problem; trying to figure out what sort of political association they should have. If there is no political authority it is called a failed state. The next stage after a failed state is called a failed society. We must surrender to the will of god and fix the state. There"s no blueprint that says what kind of a state you should have. There"s no answer what a muslim state is. It is only a practice of a community; no such thing as what a muslim state should be like. Muslims can chose the way they select their political leadership as long as there is a consensus amont the community. The history of shiaism is a history of underdogs. : isreal felt that you cant have a western pact in the middle east. Many of the middle classes were pushed back on their income to a point where islam became a way of salvation.
