Strong bodily changes that occur due to emotion. Sympathetic generates extreme physical change and parasympathetic system calms us down. Anger, fear, excitement have similar physical changes. Emotional flooding: when your feelings are so strong you loose agency and mental cognition. Easy to tell when someone is feeling strong emotion, more difficult to be certain what emotion might be. Sometimes non-verbal behavior may cause emotional state.
