Inspired by medieval europe gothic cathedrals: gothic pilrgrim s who left in middle ages. 1806 first catholic bishop in us: benjamin letrou architect. Classical structures harmonized (first they were greek and athenian style) Cathedrals are guardians of christian nature: symbols underscore christians symbol. On the other side paul stands by the meeting with christ.
