Paikkar (catholic priest that is also hindu window guy: everyone sees out the window, but everyone sees different things from their different views. He enjoys the tales and fables that come with each religion and how they are used to spread the teachings and illustrate the beliefs of each faith. Pi believes in any religion that will move him closer to god (how he believes in contradictory doctrines: pi = hindu, christian + muslim. Hindu always is and always will be.
