Buddhists don"t care about what caste you belong to. In lower caste woman"s mind, it was internalized that she was not allowed to drink tea offered by someone of higher caste. Even though system may be disadvantaging people of lower castes, it didn"t matter because (cid:1688)rules(cid:1689) associated with each caste were engraved in people"s minds. Yes, people who followed certain schools debated with each other. India from ancient times has had the idea of stages of life, and the younger generations are about getting education then raising a family and working. So, a large amount of people today in india do this. As you get older, you become more religious and prepare for death. Some people renounced the world at a young age and became yogis. Bronze is not a metal you can use to make weapons. Communications were strained, and distances were long.
