Have to do with how a group leader prioritizes leadership. Task leader- the stereotypical idea of a leader, assigns people to specific tasks and makes sure the group stays on task. Social leader- the type of leader who enhances group morale and makes people feel dandy about themselves. Sometimes the task and social leaders are the same people but sometimes they are separate people: styles. The way in which a leader enacts their role as a leader.
