This, instead of rational thought is the essential human activity. Human nature is determined by the materal conditions of our labour. Dominant characteristic of society is connected to mode of production -> determine/predict how we think & act. Understand relationships between women"s "praxis", biology, and social/physical environement. Working-class women are better able to have a clear perception of social reality reality.
