People who wrote down what they thought, they had a rationale behind it-we have not only the objects themselves but writing about them. Democracy comes into existence-in the greek world this meant that males were allowed to vote. The greeks had a very high technical skill. Depiction of real people- rst public monuments that represent real people, not just gods or pharaohs. Some of the sculptural elements have to do with decoration of pediments and buildings. As in the archaic period, they"re trying to gure out how to make interesting scenes in the triangular frame of the pediment. The sculpture than decorated the parthenon is one of the most favours-those were taken by lord elgin to england-marbles of elgin.
