Density dependant factors are food and water which become limited as the populaion grows. It is unknown since humans can be very innovaive and creaive in modifying the environment to our needs. More educaion of women, are able to make more choices. People are not starving across the planet generally. Net producivity measures the amount of food possible on the total planet. Can only support 21 billion people if humans are the only species consuming resources. Also need a source of fuel / energy - fossil fuels are inite, don"t replace as fast as we use them. Yes there is a beneit since in this case more species were added and is where it is staring to plateau. Species at risk act: illegal to kill or harm species under the act, or destroy their criical habitat. Cosewic exists to provide canadians and government with advice regarding the status of wild species that are naionally at risk.
