A table stores data of a type of entities or relationships. For each attribute, there is a set of permitted values, called the domain of that attribute. A row represents an instance of entity or relationship. It is an ordered set of values, one for each attribute. Relation is a table vs relation schema is the de nition. A relation shema de nes the structure of a relation by specifying its name, its attribute, attribute types and constraints. Each table has a schema, you can consider the top of the table as the schema, the columns (although you will also need to de ne the type and constraints on those attributes) A column in a relation/table is an attribute. A tuple is a row in a relation.
