During this, there was a rise of 3 individually powerful men: the gracchus brothers, gaius, and tiberius sempronius, are very similar to the kennedy brothers. They were from the aristocratic group, however they had a moral feeling for the hardships of the poor. They attempted to redistribute some of the land and wealth through the poor to restabilize the place. They were both assassinated in their attempts, and as the second brother marched with protestors on the senate, the senators went into a closed senate, and the chief priest was there.
