Locks her up in a high tower/dungeon above the earth to protect her from any man who would impregnate her. Zeus" enters the tower in the form of a shower of gold and impregnates her. Acrisius walks by and hears a child playing o. Decides to get rid of danae and perseus. Zeus asks poseidon to take care of perseus. They end up drifting to the island of seriphos. Desires danae; perseus gets in the way of the seduction. Over the years he becomes annoyed of perseus. Commanded every man to bring a horse to him. Perseus cannot bring a horse because he has no father/resources.
