Emphasis will be from week 8 to week 12. There"s still a wage gap between female and male professors. Gender differences and science: debates on gender differences still rage despite relatively common acceptance that: More variation within sex than between sex. Significant differences where they exist lack practical significance. Until only recently, results conducted on all male samples were generalized to female in medical and psychological research: implications were found for: Heart attacks females having a heart attack are often thought of as having an anxiety attack. Autism diagnosed more in boys than girls because girls have different symptoms. Girls and boys socialize differently than boys: girls usually have internal symptoms, boys usually have external symptoms. Qualitative originally considered non-scientific or soft science : usually done by female researchers. Debate over whether experience must be quantified to represent truth. Belief that empirical science is not bias free at all.
